This is done continuously throughout the Academic Year in the form of class work, project work, participation in class discussions, etc. and constitutes 25% of the total credit in a particular subject.
Grade 9:
A Half-Yearly Examination in September every year
An Annual Examination in March every year
Grade 10, AS & A Levels:
Mock Examinations – The Mock Examination in a particular paper is held approximately five weeks before the corresponding Board Examination and constitutes 75% of the total credit for that paper.
Board Examinations – Board Examinations are held in accordance with the timetable published by Edexcel and CIE Boards.
Promotion
IGCSE – Promotion from Grade 9 to Grade 10 is not automatic and is based on a student’s preparedness to face the challenges of the next higher grade.
AS & A Levels – The School advises a student when he should sit for a particular paper of a Board Examination.
Progress Reports
Grade 9 – Students receive their Progress Reports at the end of each term.
Grade 10, AS & A Levels – Students receive their Progress Reports subject-wise three weeks before the corresponding Board Examination.
